We ensure that the state-owned seaports along the Lower Saxony North Sea coast keep moving and that port infrastructure operates reliably.
Our responsibilities include the operation, maintenance and repair of quays, locks, bridges and harbour basins. At the same time, we are continuously developing our ports: Niedersachsen Ports plans and delivers infrastructure projects, strengthens port locations and secures their long-term performance.
We work closely with businesses, regional partners and policymakers to develop solutions for safe, efficient and climate-friendly port operations. This is how we help ensure that our ports remain vital economic hubs – today and in the future.
