DODILog
Project Info
Project description
The DODILog project aims to optimize agricultural and food logistics by integrating advanced technolo-gies for early risk detection and quality preservation in potatoes and cereals.
Motivation
Potatoes and grains are very sensitive to heat, moisture, pests, and improper storage. Improper condi-tions along the supply chain lead to high financial losses and food waste.
Project Goals
DODILog develops and tests digital solutions to extend shelf life and reduce losses. These include in-sect detection, sub-THz sensors, multi-gas eNose, smart chips, and sensors for real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity. AI systems optimize ventilation and storage management in silos, ware-houses, and containers. In this way, DODILog promotes innovative storage solutions, international co-operation, and sustainability in northwestern Europe.
Project Partner
DODILog is a cross-border cooperation project involving 11 partners from the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany.
